Babysitting Update!

We wanted to provide a nursery for a portion of Fabulous Friday but since the activity will take place at the Hales' home, it is not possible to provide "on site" babysitting. It is our goal to provide a way for every sister to attend at least the dinner portion of Fabulous Friday, so we are teaming up with the wonderful young women of the ward to provide babysitting for those who need it from the hours of 5pm-7pm. Below you will find a list of young women who have graciously offered to donate their time so that the sisters may unite in a dinner together. As more YW volunteer we will update the list. To keep the privacy of the YW we will not provide last names or phone numbers so please locate their numbers through www.lds.org, or contact a member of the meeting committee. Depending on the wards' needs and the number of volunteers it may be necessary to team up with another family, with the consent of the YW. Please note, the YW are volunteering their time from 5pm-7pm only. If you need babysitting past 7pm please contact the YW volunteering for you to make further arrangements.

Fabulous Friday 2012!!

Join the Relief Society sisters of the Lynbrook Ward Friday, October 26th from 5pm to 10pm at the home of Sister Hale. Come get creative, learn something new or just gab with the girls. There will be several projects to choose from, demonstrations to watch, and dinner will be served at 6pm. Please don't forget to look at the classes on the SECOND PAGE!

 

1. Choose from the classes and crafts available listed below.

 

2. Sign up for the classes and crafts by turning in your "order form" and money to Erin Merrell, Angie Morrison, or Jen Andersen by October 14th. You can get an order form on the table where the crafts are displayed, in the Relief Society binder, or by emailing or asking Erin, Angie, or Jen.

 

3. Make checks payable to Lynbrook Ward.

4. Samples of the crafts will be outside the Relief Society room on Sundays.

5. If you are unable to attend, you may still purchase projects, but they must be picked up on October 26th at Fabulous Friday.

Felt Hair Bows

All supplies will be provided for you. We will have an assortment of felt colors and fabric scraps. It is first come first serve. If you have a specific felt color and/or fabric you would like to use you are welcome to bring it!

Pajama Pants

Come and sew some pajama pants for you, your family, friends, and/or neighbors!

--You will need to provide your own fabric, elastic for waistband, colored thread if you want it to match your fabric, and a pattern or old pair of pants to use as a pattern. We will have a few patterns available but not everyone's size. Please bring scissors if you have them. We will be providing white thread, pins and have some sewing machines available. We are also working on a chart for how much fabric to bring based on size. We will update that information as we get it!

Family Birthday Board

Never forget birthdays again with this cute and clever birthday board!

$10 per board. Project comes with 25 discs, if you need more you can purchase them, 10 discs for $1

Welcome Post

Make this charming post to welcome your guests! Post measures about 30" high and includes a 6 1/2 inch square at the bottom for more stability. This picture is not ours and does not show the additional square. We will update with our picture as soon as possible. Post includes hook, welcome sign with black vinyl, and wire to hang.
